• Formation of nanotubular structures by soft template electropolymerization. Benzotrithiophene monomers with different substituents and water content. Densely packed open microspheres obtained a simple phenyl substituent. Influence on surface hydrophobicity. Here, electropolymerization approach (called templateless) is used to prepare extremely ordered porous structures. For the first time, benzotrithiophene-based are chosen for their high aromaticity exceptional capacity. Different parameters tested such as nature substituent, presence ketone group between monomer content method. Homogeneous especially without group, probably because reduces π -stacking interactions benzotrithiophene moieties. Unique results aromatic groups (phenyl naphthalene), which lead densely huge spheres cyclic voltammetry in dichloromethane saturated water. just sufficient compared other works 3,4-phenylenedioxythiophene (PheDOT), 3,4-naphthalenedioxythiophene (NaphDOT) thieno[3,4- b ]thiophene BTT already aromatic.
